The listing does a great job with photos and descriptions – but I promise, everything is even better than you can imagine. I visited with my teen boys… they loved exploring the property and visiting the animals on the ruggedized vehicle loaned to us during the stay and we were all thankful for Wi-Fi in the lake house (where the kitchen is located). The yurt is very large and luxurious – impeccable styling – and the king bed was so comfy. Cots and sleeping bags are conveniently located inside the cabin to accommodate those not sleeping in the bed. Thank goodness for the heater, it kept us all toasty. This cabin/yurt is in a nice and secluded spot yet not far from the private bathroom (which was nice and bright and stocked with soap/shampoo/conditioner and towels). I appreciated the huge commercial kitchen with all the pots and pans and kitchen appliances… definitely take the time to plan out your meals and bring groceries to store in the fridge and freezer. We made good use of the farm fresh eggs – we ate them every morning! Highly recommend the eco horse tour with Kerry… my kids had never ridden before and really had a great time. Teen boys can be selective as to what they deem a good vacation… and the visit to the ranch got two resounding thumbs up! I had a nice time too, it was great to unplug and be in nature while being very comfortable.
