Very special and unique experience. Beautiful land, animals, ponds, streams, and fantastic location for hiking and other outdoor pursuits. The Shelley Shack was an amazing screened in shared space overlooking one of the ponds. We took full advantage of the expansive kitchen area where all 5 of us were able to put together some fantastic meals with plenty of space and every cooking amenity you could want. I strongly suggest planning for meals at the property as you will not want to waste time driving back and forth from Ojai. The space heater in the tent combined with the multiple layers of quality bedding was more than adequate to keep warm in 40 degree temps overnight. I would also bring ear plugs, as we had some pretty strong wind during our stay that made the nights a bit noisy. I am sure we will be back. This place has the opportunities for relaxation and/or adventure for pretty much any preference.
