I’ll be honest. It took a day and a half to reset my frenetic clock to the pace of El Rancho Grande. With that said, if you want the full experience I’d recommend staying more than a couple of days. While it may not seem there’s a lot to do at first, adventure awaits you here. I kept waiting for our 3 boys (9/13/15) to get bored and it never happened. Getting to know Alex’s goats was a definite highlight. That, along with standing among alpacas, picking our own veggies, gathering eggs, cooking commune style in a giant rustic, ultra-equipped kitchen, happy hour basketball and twilight baseball, wow!! And did I mention all the fishing, interspersed with boat and canoe riding and jumping off the dock into the freshest, coolest PRIVATE pond?! That plus s’mores, pool and Wimbledon championships on the big screen (yes, we spent time indoors too. It was 90 plus degrees out)! Can’t wait to return for the peaches, the waterfall and some animal births that we probably just missed. Thank you Alex. Your humble pride and gentle heart speak volumes🧡
